Part Time Bar Supervisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time supervisor to join our busy community bar.
Rowheath Pavilion is a thriving community centre within a popular park. It’s the home ground for a number of local football and rugby teams as well as a running club. The centre is also the base for a number of community groups and organisations including classes for parents and toddlers and dance classes for all ages. It’s also a popular wedding and function venue. During the summer the Bar is a popular destination for Street Food Fridays and food and drink festivals.
Rowheath Pavilion is the trading arm of Trinity Christian Centre, a charity set up by Rowheath Pavilion Church to operate Rowheath Pavilion for the benefit of the whole community.

The successful candidate will have proven bar and cellar management experience, in a supervisory role and be able to cope with high volume events as well as quieter evenings and be comfortable chatting with regulars and sports users. The successful candidate will be able to work a minimum of 16 hours a week, including weekday shifts.

Bar & Events Manager 

We’re looking for a Bar and Events Manager to join our team.
Rowheath Pavilion is the trading arm of Trinity Christian Centre, a charity set up by Rowheath Pavilion Church to run Rowheath Pavilion on behalf of the Church for the benefit of the whole community.
The community café and bar provide opportunities to serve and engage with different parts of the local community. The Terrace Room is a popular venue for weddings and parties. RPL also hosts its own events, including Street Food Fridays, ale and food festivals, community days and our popular fireworks event.
This is an exciting and challenging new role; we’re looking for someone who is an excellent team player, able to work with the existing events team to deliver our food and drinks events, as well as manage our community bar and front of house for weddings and parties.
You need to have excellent people skills as well as proven experience of bar and events management. You need to have a real heart for the community, as well as embrace and respect our values.
